That was her favourite spot. She was just beginning to grow. A blossom, waiting to unfurl. A flower sans fragrance. But nevertheless Beautiful, cheerful. Death cast its horrible hands ; Robbed her of life. A life that was yet to start.. She left behind A trail of tears, sorrow. And a mother mourning Over her only “special” child. P.S. : Influenced from a real life incident. Dedicated to the victims of congenital fatal diseases.

My countenance spells doom. That’s why I’m veiled. But the world thinks otherwise. Its not beauty that I conceal, I try to hide the jinx in me ....

Yes,I go….. To the ends of my imagination… Beyond the valley and the moors… Beyond isolation… Bereft of any blanket…. In the numbing cold…. All I see is shadows in the mist. Illusions. Mirages. But not you. Yet I do not lose hope. I wait for you.

No matter how far you are… No matter how angry you are… No matter how hurt you are.. You never ever forget to Care for me. I never seem to notice you- I take you as granted. But… In the corner of my eyes You charm me.. With your brilliance and exuberance. My feelings for you are beyond words.. And I know it’s the same for you. No matter how old we are, We shall always be The best friends forever, Mom.

Today its me in silk and gold, Tomorrow it’ll be in a shroud. Would you still love me ? Would you still keep me alive ? Would you still cherish my presence ? Would you still be all mine ? You cannot go back in time, But would you walk with me, forever ?
