TWO SPECIAL SOMEONES...

Ever pondered on relationship of two sisters ?They are the best of friends, philosophers and guides. They often seem poles apart, but they belong to the same "magnet".Adversity makes them think and act like one.Prosperity allows them to hold hands together even while fighting with each other.
I have some experiences to substantiate the above lines. My sister is three years younger than me.When I took up engineering, the biggest problem that arose was I was complete novice to programming. After all,its not an easy task to master programming in 3 months. My little sis' showed her acumen then. She enticed me into C and I followed her.I can hear her
voice even now-"Thats enough rest, you have 4 more codes to write."She became my teacher-an actual role reversal. When I was sad(usually I yell at the top of my voice),she said something which made me feel better. She
has a large role in making me feel confident about myself.
I also recollect the days when she was a primary schooler-whenever there was a competition,be it essay, debate or quiz, she would always run to me and say,"Listen,my topic is so-and-so,please write it in fifteen minutes, then I'll get it by-heart."I almost always wrote for her.On one ocassion, the teacher admired "her" essay a lot.She came home, congratulated me and said,"I was so nervous when Ma'am was reading the essay. What if she asked me the meaning of the difficult words you've written?" I was flattered but laughed really loud.My God,what a girl is she !Even now I write her English answers(once in a while).
An absolute loving family is a rare gift, only for lucky ones.I think I'm blessed to have such a family and a doting little sister to be cared for.Her birth is the biggest "miracle" of my life.I dedicate these lines to her:
"When I'm happy, you add to my joy.
When I'm sad,you don't let me cry.
We are made to help each other.
We are two special someones."
(Hey,I have written a poem,all by myself.Viola!!!!!)

My sister and I had the most turbulent r'ship since we were babies. The reason for that is my sis is the very opposite of me...in personality. She's quiet, calm, reserved and less outdoorsy. Im loud, open, flashy and annoying. lol!

But lately we hv become the closest we could hv ever been. Which is a sign of maturity, understanding and real affection.

yes sisters are the best! :)

Lovely post here Anwesa!

MRS DESPATCHER(PART II)

CONTINUED FROM PREVIOUS POST… Eighteen months later…. I was beginning to like my work. It was a challenge sometimes. I had learnt to go beyond boundaries. The dreams which had eluded me once, were dawning as reality now. I had my taste of success and as they say nothing succeeds like success. I had developed a knack for solving my own problems. One day , I chanced by a couple who were seated in a corner of the quaint little coffee shop. I couldn’t believe my eyes…. Divya and Sandip…here of all places. I couldn’t help but confront them. Divya was warmer than ever before and Sandip… I knew he was feeling a bit coy..its so typical of him. But I was more than surprised when he asked me to join them. Though I didn’t refuse, they found me going after five minutes. I invited them for lunch on Sunday. It was a fine Sunday morning and my guests were sharp on time. Divya offered me help in the kitchen and I chose not to refuse. My books kept Sandip busy. She could read my mind and went on with h

ILLUSIONS OF REALITY...

The more you point out my mistakes, The more you are drawn towards me. The more you try to hurt me, The more you bleed in your heart. The more you run away from me, The more my memories haunt you. The more you want to forget me, The more you are reminded of my presence. The more you want to chase me away, The closer I come to you. The more you hate me, The more you end up loving me. The more you call me an “illusion” The more I dawn as the reality of your life….
